1968 Mercury Park Lane for sale in Lakeland, Florida

$23,400

THIS CAR IS ONE OF 15 IN THE REGISTRY.
Sold new in Inglewood CA, the Marti report showing it was ordered with the Colony Park paneling. I have a folder full of restoration receipts from the mid-nineties and had the factory paint redone, new chrome bumpers, new 3M for the paneled sides. P/Top with real glass that works perfectly!! Parade cover, PS, PB, factory 390 Big Block 4 BBL, C-6 auto transmission, tilt wheel, Whisperair AC, power windows, convenience control panel. Very straight body w/no rust showing through anywhere. Runs And drives great, just like it should. I have the Build Sheet, factory jack instructions, and original owners manual. Very Rare Collector Drop Top. This car is 1 of 53 ordered with these paint and trim codes. Car has just been gone through; everything thing we can find not working we repaired. Paint has just been detailed and scuffed and buffed to a mirror finish. This is one rare classic car that will do nothing but increase in value.
I found this on google, this is not my car: 1968 Mercury Park Lane news, pictures, and information: Wood grain-applied trim was used almost exclusively on station wagons. It was rare to see that trim, which was referred to as 'yacht paneling', on a passenger car. This is one of only 15 Mercurys built in 1968 with that trim. The Park Lane series featured a newly-designed instrument panel for 1968 as well as new exterior trim touches that included full-length tire level moldings, wheel well 'lips' and three slanted trim panels on the roof quarter panels.
Power was supplied by an overhead valve V-8 that developed 315 horsepower from 390 cubic-inches. Only 1,112 Mercury Park Lane convertibles were built in 1968.
